it started off with a surprise for me!dear popped by my place on 0000hrs of Valentine's day..i was in the midst of baking cookies la! and he had to come. oh wells, person outside my door already, cannot dont open and let him in right? haha..so yea.. my surprise was kinda ruined la, i got surprised by him instead.hahah..but it was nice of him to come by. =) earlier in the afternoon, i spent like 2 hrs sewing our names on a couple set of pillow cases which i bought..havent sewed in a long time mann..but the names turned out pretty nice..so yea, im happy with it and so was he.. and we each kept one..hehe..

in the afternoon, went to dear's place for a homecooked lunch prepared by him.. (yes it is edible..hahaha).. it was not bad. considering that he seldom cooks..the effort put in was commendable though..cos it was a combined effort..hahaha..

later in the night, we headed down to Sentosa's Siloso beach for a sort-of night picnic..hehe..it was a first for me, something different..he brought along a goodie box, inside was filled with drinks, fruit tarts, chocolate waffles and the most important delicacy - Heart-shaped chocolate from Mezza Nine..and not forgetting a nice candle stand..atmosphere was really nice, along with the cool night breeze..juz lacking some beach pillows i maybe.. hahah..there were a few other couples there too..to enjoy the lovely night with their love one. oh! what was interesting to see was that there was this Malay couple who sat like 2 lamp posts away from us..after a while, we saw smoke rising from their spot..we were like, "huh.. wad on earth are they doing?"..we looked over n saw the guy holding a big fan (those made out of cane). and guess what? they were grilling satay! hahah...not bad la..there are many ways to spend valentine's day.. n theirs was quite an interesting one..hehe..mine was, needless to say, sweet! =D it's the company that all matters!
