My day started off with helping xinyan with her comm service project..we were to collect old newspapers, magazines and clothes around simei and tampines neighbourhood..after which it would be sold to the karang guni man.. and the money collected will be in aid of those children whom parents are in jail or sth like that..well, it was not bad going around HDB blocks to collect those stuff.. but yea tiring la..what we collected from some blocks were quite fruitful..

after comm service..i went to meet df and clariss at pasir ris before going to mich's chalet at costa sands..sheesh i was late then got all the complaints from df.. we were the first to reach the chalet man.. and mich was juz setting up the bbq.. good job gurl! hehe..soo nice to see joan n clariss again.. didnt see them for sometime already..miss u gurls ok..=) well..almost throughout the night..df and i were shooting each other..with joan n clare helping each side alternately..hahah..he kept talking abt my FIA friend..said that i drink angmoh water.. what the.. hahhaa..anyways, halfway through the bbq.. the 4 of us walked out to the coast and sat there for a chit-chat under the stars.. it was relaxing..with the breeze and wonderful company..we talked about how our lives seemed a lil empty now..about how stagnant the jobs are..about bgr.. haha.. when there's df, we will confirm touch on this topic..sighs.. all of us still miss the times we had in poly..though we had to study..work on proj.. it held the most enjoyable memories..=)

before we left, we told mich to open our prezzie..she was so scared that we played a prank on her that she had to open the box cautiously.. haha.. but aiyah..we're harmless ya noe..well, we got her a bikini! thk she can start to have a collection of them la.. wanted her to put it on then we can throw her into the pool.. but time didnt allow it..anyhow, glad that she liked it and there's a special treat coming up for her next wk.. promise u no sabotage gurl..=)

on the way back home..df and i talked abt bgr and friendships again..haha..can never leave this topic with him around leh..adioz.. oh wells, but through our sorta in-depth conversation..we both realised certain things.. and df more or less come to realise and accept certain facts lah..hahah..sighs.. it's easy to find a girl/boyfriend..but not easy to find a true friend..and it's really not easy to find someone whom u like and who likes u too..most of the time, it happens to be one-sided..well, and sometimes u dont treasure the person until u lose him/her..then u will be filled with regret..so we shld treasure who we have before us..and also such things cannot be rushed too..hafta take our time to find the right one..

when i got home, dad suddenly asked me about some serious matters..or rather had a lil chat with his daughter lah.. haha..he asked if i had enough money to spend coz he knows i will not ask for it..though im surviving on my savings alone..thk it's stil sufficient for me la..but i hafta control my expenses..i'd never like asking my parents for money..nvm la.. CNY is coming so not so bad.. haha..then he asked about my modules for the coming semester, if i would be able to cope n all.. asked what plans i have in mind for my 21st bdae..he's afraid i may not have enough time to organise it coz i will be back end of june..we also talked about holiday plans at end the year if they're coming to attend my graduation in aussie..yea it's quite fast actually.. in a blink of an eye, it will be end of 2005..i will hafta start looking for a job already before i finish my studies in aussie man..thkin of what clare and the rest said earlier on, i kinda dread going out to work but am also looking forward to it. it will be a different phase in life already.. my dad was like telling me, "girl, u all very funny leh..i dont miss my school days much..what's in the past are memories, u can relive those memories..but u should make the best of the present..if u keep thinking back on the past, then u will remain stagnant and not move on to a more fulfilling life..i dont dread working coz i have to, and since i have to..i try and find happiness in my job and enjoy every part of it by looking at it with different perspectives..so u should make the best of what u're doing now and then plan for the future. " haha..so coincidental..that today's topic seems to be revolving around this aspect..what we talked about at the chalet and then what my dad talked to me..hahah..but i agree with my dad..make the best of the present and so i should juz go all out and enjoy varsity life..not only study hard..but also build up more networking amongst people..do whatever to make it fulfilling with no regrets.. my dad's words always set me thinking and have an impact on me..hahha.. luv moi daddy! =)
